Switch to Full Screen Mode in CMD

Usually the size of the command prompt (CMD)box is small even you try to maximize , It only covers half of the screen vertically. There is no way you can drag the edges to adjust to the monitor screen size.  There is a way to do this by going to cmd properties.

  • Right click on the top bar of the command prompt box and go to properties

cmd properties

  • Change the Width and Height under the Window Size. Adjust the width as per your screen size.

Once you adjust the width and the height the cmd windows would fit perfectly to the screen. That’s how simple it is. Thanks for reading this article.
