Crime in America – Infographic

The infographic depicts crime offenses per year in the United States. Streets and highways show the greatest amount of offenses whereas banks show the least amount of offenses per year.  As opposed to popular belief, most crime happens during the day. Residential homes are more likely to get burglarized than commercial offices.  Larceny happens the most in vehicles, but happens the least in coin operated machines. Toward the bottom of the infographic, you can see that crime is happening all the time in the U.S. but there are ways to prevent this from happening. Make sure you are always aware of your surroundings. Lock your car before you go into a store and make sure someone is looking out for your home if you’re on vacation.  Security systems are great ways to deter thefts from entering your house. You can find trusted security providers online or you may choose to install safety equipment yourself.
